By The Making Treaty 4 Collective
April 10–28, 2019
Globe Theatre‘s production of Making Treaty 4 is a collective
creation–devised by a group of emerging Indigenous artists through a series of
training and creation intensives over the past two years. It combines storytelling,
song, drama, and dance to create a narrative about the events leading up to the
negotiation and signing of the “Qu’Appelle Treaty” and its current impact on
contemporary life. This theatrical experience invites everyone to move forward
together in the spirit of reconciliation.
